Is the Cross Enough?

A question. Is the cross enough?

Is Jesus dying on the cross enough to save you from your sins?

Can you believe that Jesus death on the cross was simply enough to make it possible for you to enter the Kingdom of God?

The answer is simply; no.

How can I make such an outlandish statement? Because a dead Jesus doesn't equal a forgiven me. Jesus dying on the cross does nothing to free me from the penalty of my sins. All I have is a dead rabbi. Not a forgiven man.

I need a risen savior. I need a savior who conquered the grave.

1 Corinthians 12 Now if Christ be preached, that he arose again from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christis not risen again. 14 And if Christ be not risen again, then is our preaching vain: and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God: because we have given testimony against God, that he has raised up Christ, whom he has not raised up, if the dead rise not again. 16 For if the dead rise not again, neither is Christ risen again. 17 And if Christ be not risen again, your faith is vain: for you are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

I don't need a Jesus lying in a rich man's tomb; I need a savior seated at the right hand of God. I HAVE a savior seated at the right hand of God. His name is Jesus.
